Radio Mongolyn in on 209 this morning. Mystery station on 1161 kHz finally with some
audio after years of just hearing a carrier and KSL splatter. No DU's heard this morning.
TP's signals up during the 1300 utc hour.
153 Russia, Radio Rossii 1241 good with jazz.
180 Russia, Radio Rossii 1242 fair with jazz.
189 Russia, Radio Rossii 1243 good with jazz.
209 Mongolia, Mongolyn Radio 1246-1249 weak with woman/man talking with music in between.
Nothing heard on the 3 // frequencies.
234 Russia, Radio Rossii 1252 no Radio Rossii, just LW beacon. 1253 Radio Rossii signal rose to
good.
279 Russia, Radio Rossii 1255 fair to good with man in Russian.
594 Japan, JOAK NHK 1 1305 weak with woman in Japanese. Fair at 1306.
603 Republic of Korea, HLSA 1313 weak with man in Korean.
666 Japan, JOBK 1314 weak to fair with man in Japanese.
693 Japan, JOAB 1341 weak to fair with woman in Japanese.
747 Japan, JOIB 1315 fair with man in Japanese and plenty of KXL splatter.
774 Japan, JOUB 1316 good with man in Japanese. Not present during first scan on MW band.
828 Japan, JOUB 1300 good with man in Japanese.
936 Unknown, 1320 weak signal with music.
1134 Japan, JOQR 1322 weak with man in Japanese.
1161 Unknown, 1321-1334 weak with Chinese or Korean? Music, then back to woman talking.
Has only been carrier in past years, KSL splatter really tears up channel. Heard on all three antennas.
1287 Japan, JOHR 1338 weak with woman in Japanese.
1566 Republic of Korea, HLAZ good at 1303 with man in Japanese.
1575 Thailand, VOA 1303 weak with woman in Vietnamese.
