Hi Dennis,

Dennis, you may have had a trace of the dominant DU station on this
frequency, 657-Southern Star in Wellington, New Zealand. They play a
Christian music format, and were very strong during my visit to the
Oregon coast (at the "Rockwork" ocean viewpoint) a week ago. Choir
music from them seems a lot more likely than it would seem from North
Korea!

All five Radio Rossii Russian long-waves were heard this morning at
listenable
levels.
Three medium wave TP's were heard.
657 Unknown, 1301-1305 choir music, very weak fading signal. Music
did not
sound like anything the DPR Korea would play.
774 Japan, JOUB 1248 weak.
1566 Republic of Korea, HLAZ 1256 weak signal.
The Portland, OR area had it's first 90 degree temperature of the
season
Saturday.
Checked 1150 a few minutes ago and found KKNW alone on the channel.
