[IRCA] July 2011 Oregon Beach Ultralight AM DXpedition Report

Hello All,

For those interested in the full (7-page) transoceanic DXing report of
the new 8" medium wave Ferrite Sleeve Loop antenna's performance
during last month's ocean beach DXpedition to Lincoln City, OR, it has
been uploaded to http://www.mediafire.com/?0j1jc3shhsvod5s .

Detailing the FSL antenna's design, testing and refinements prior to
the South Pacific DXing trip, various detailed photos are provided
showing the antenna's construction and beach setup arrangement. MP3
links are also provided for recordings of 2 Longwave and 17 Medium Wave stations, including the relatively obscure DX loggings of 666-Noumea (an all-time new Ultralight DX country), 603-Waatea, and a presumed 639 kHz National Radio (NZ) relay station (2 kw). Links are also provided for the companion LW DXpedition report and prior Oregon Beach DXpedition summaries. For those interested in the new FSL antenna's capability to provide awesome DXing gain from an extremely compact space, it should prove to be interesting reading.

73 and Good DX,
Gary DeBock (in Puyallup, WA, USA)
