Hi Pat, If CBXQ was not programming // to CBU then most likely it was relaying CBCV 90.5 FM in Victoria which does a morning show for Vancouver Island and the rest of BC while CBU covers only Vancouver and the Fraser Valley until 9AM when both switch to national network shows.Bill in BC
