[IRCA] Interesting DX 5/14

WPVS 690 Ridgefield, WA which broadcast on 530 kHz was been running Portland, OR
NOAA broadcasts for a couple months now.  All of the construction work has ended
and is due to start in about a year.  I wish they would shut down the station until road constructions starts again.  A few years ago I read about the FCC shut down a HARS station in the Los Angeles area for broadcasting NOAA and not traffic information. I can hear a weak Portland PDX airport parking information station under WPVS  690 on 530 kHz.
