Re: [IRCA] Drake R8 sensitivity



I don't think it's the Drake, I think it's simply variations in conditions. Groundwave conductivity varies with the amount of moisture content, and whether or not the ground is frozen ( trapping moisture in the process ). Fog is also known to alter normal groundwave conditions. From time to time, some have suggested that groundwave reception can be altered by having the sap running and the leaves on the trees.

I routinely notice variations in local signals from one listening session to the next.
