[IRCA] WKVQ DX Tests this weekend

PLEASE GIVE THIS INFORMATION  THE WIDEST POSSIBLE DISSEMINATION

This is a reminder of the ***two separate*** DX tests from WKVQ radio 
scheduled this Friday night (early Saturday morning). Test organizer Jim 
Pogue just checked with Chief Engineer Craig Baker and everything is a go. 
Here again are the details:

1) WKVQ, 1540 Khz, 10 KW, Eatonton, GA will test on March 12, 2011 from 
1:00-1:30 AM Eastern Standard Time (0600-0630 UTC). This test is being 
conducted especially for DXers in Europe in hopes that they will have a shot 
at hearing WKVQ just before their local sunrise.

2) WKVQ, 1540 Khz, 10 KW, Eatonton, GA -- the same station -- will test on 
March 12, 2011 from 2:00-2:30 AM Eastern Standard Time. Test will include 
Morse code IDs, voice IDs, special music, and sweep tones.

PLEASE NOTE - THESE TESTS ARE SATURDAY MORNING (FRIDAY NIGHT) AND 
***BEFORE*** THE TIME CHANGE OCCURS THE NEXT MORNING.

Reception reports may be sent to starstation[at]bellsouth[dot]net which will 
be acknowledged with an eQSL or snail mail reports which will be 
acknowledged with a traditional QSL card.
