690 WIST LA New Orleans - 0355 - Presumed with Fox Sports Radio on south-southwest wire, alternating with presumed KTSM TX and two Spanish stations. Checked west wire for Minneapolis FSR station but solid French from Saskatchewan. New.
1010 CFRB ON Toronto - 0406 - Heard this running "24/7 Comedy Radio" overnights, which might make this an easy target.
1620 WQBR257 IL Libertyville - 0746 - Short loop tape gives ID that sounds like "You're listening to WQBR257 operating on 1620 kilohertz AM...road work...low-power highway advisory radio." Mention of Lake County and what sounds like Green Bay Road, and railway tracks between Vermont Road and another roadway. Mixing with KOZN NE. There is a WQBR257 listed, but this sounds to me like 256. Audi online at www.wtfda.info/showthread.php?t=5461 . New.
1520 KMSR ND Mayville - PSA for the 10th Annual International Crop Expo Feb 16-17 at the Alerus Center (which checks to Grand Forks ND). Followed by American Ag Network with weather for SD ND MN and IA. Ad for flex fuel pumps at Farmers Union Oil in Portland and Cenex Convenience Store in Mayville. Fades then resurfaces with ESPN sports and ID as "KMSR 1520 AM, your sports talk station in the Valley. Mayville, Portland, Grand Forks." New.
1530 WYGR MI Wyoming - 0931 - Presumed on west wire with Tom Joyner Morning Show, and confirmed at 1005 with a male announcer saying "This is 1530 AM WYGR. That's Curtis Mayfield, You're so good to me, on this Friday Feb. 11th, Valentine's Day weekend." Sooner overtaken by WMBE WI. New.
1530 WMBE WI Chilton - 1006 - WYGR MI is soon overtaken by one with female announcer with weather (partly cloudy skies) and an ID as "1530 WMBE." New.
1520 unID - 0949 - Merle Haggard, "BJ's Country Classic Country," male announcer mentions the previous Merle Haggard song, some generic talk, then intros Alabama, Mountain Music. Audio online at www.wtfda.info/showthread.php?t=5461
1460 unID - 1024 - Spanish, possibly WKAM Goshen IN given other stations received. Audio online at www.wtfda.info/showthread.php?t=5461
1350 WLOU KY Louisville - 1742 - Calls, black gospel. New.
1140 unID - 1809 - On Clip A I'm hearing a country or southern gospel station a tad low at 1139.96 on my south-southwest wire, underneath WRVA. I'm guessing one of KY, TN or VA but otherwise have no solid idea. On Clip B, at 1815, it's talk, possibly Christian. I think this is the same station, as it seemed slightly below 1140. Audio online at www.wtfda.info/showthread.php?t=5461
940 unID - 1833 - Southern gospel music, then into The Apostolic Witness International Radio Broadcast (which is produced by the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, in Memphis TN). Possibly WCPC MS. Audio online at www.wtfda.info/showthread.php?t=5461
Sat Feb 12, 2011
1230 WMPC MI Lapeer - 0656 - Michigan PSA, then "Gospel 1230 WMPC weather forecast." New.
810 WJJQ WI Tomahawk - 0712 - "Sports Talk 810 WJJQ" and into ESPN Radio. New. High on my target list
-30-
