Patrick,
I’ll be happy to produce Morse Code ID’s and sweep tones in various combinations to meet your needs. I’ve got a library of stuff that has been very successful in the past. The sweep tones typically outperform Morse Code by a significant margin. We’ve proven this through on the air tests, and also using test subjects where we mixed sweep tones and Morse in with typical background noise from a channel in controlled steps. Sweeps could be successfully detected at much lower levels (db wise) than Morse alone.
“Gimmick” sounds like bells, whistles, etc. were much less successful. The only exception is the “off hook” signal that your telephone makes. This sound was as effective as sweep tones. Let me know what you need.
