[IRCA] WCRN-830 after sunset

Fred-

It sounds like WCRN was on day pattern a bit late as, you are correct, their night pattern has a severe null to the west to protect WCCO.

Subject: [IRCA] WCRN-830 after sunset

Around 5:30 this evening, driving home in the darkness, I noticed 2 stations
ussling on 830, WCCO & another, and the more dominant turned out to be
CRN, which I listened to for 15 minutes. This really surprised me, as they
re directional eastward over Boston, so I would not expect a lot of signal
n my direction (Pittsburgh area). I'm curious . . . those of you who spend
lot of time at the dials, is WCRN a common visitor in the PA-OH-WV-IN
tc.? Thanks-
