[IRCA] TP for the 10 Dec from Victoria, BC.

This morning was actually pretty good, though I didn't have a lot of time to listen. Would probably have heard more if I had more time, as things were erratic, as usual, and some things popped up, not to be heard again...or not at that strength, N. Korea on 819 for example, a fairly rare visitor this season. So, quick listening at 1450, 1520 and 1550UT, when there was some reasonable top band enhancement.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

1566 HLAZ, rising to this strength w/CC talk by 1555UT
1593 CNR-1 CC talk by woman //945 (SW parallels in the noise), at 1549UT

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

747 JOIB at 1455UT
774 JOUB, with something else underneath
819 N. Korea, operatic singing //2850 at 1525UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker

594 JOAK
828 JOBB
873 JOGB //828
936 CC talk by woman at 1529UT, likely Anhui
945 CNR-1 at various times
972 likely HLCA
1287 JOHR

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

567 JOIK
603 man talking at 1528, HLSA?
639 CNR-1 //6030 at 1527UT
675 weak talk at 1529, Vietnam?
1386 unID, at 1551UT, didn't seem to be CNR-1, and low frequency NHK2''s weren't audible now
1575 weak talk after 1550UT
1584 unID at 1556UT, man talking, no //s left

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

711, 756, 837, 1044, 1134, 1521

best wishes,
Nick
