I do not ever recall hearing Greenland on SW (MW would be a stretch from
Indiana on one of my barefoot portables). Is the 3815 KHz SW
transmitter capable of making it to the US Midwest on a portable such as
my Eton E100?
Thanks and 73,
Dave in Indy

Chicken Little at work.
"The sky is falling - SW will never work. It never worked in the past.
We can only go digital! Everyone will willingly spend more for the
receiver!"
Who knew that hi-tech lobbyists had braved the cold of Greenland?
As a result, the people of Greenland get nothing.
Even here in the vast expanse of British Columbia, we still
get great coverage from low power AM and FM repeaters.

On one hand, I look forward to seeing some of the AM powerhouses go off
the
air - this will help clear 720 for those of us who DXpedition in
Newfoundland. On the other hand, I have been hoping to catch the 72- one
from Burnt River ON in WGN's null. IBOC from WOR on 710 has made this a
challenge. So from an inland TA chaser's perspecive, I was hoping
Greenland
720 might outlive WOR's IBOC.
I guess for any real success in Newfoundland, I would want a massive
number
of signoffs in Spain.
