[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-30

Hello All,
 
     West coast DXers with reasonably low expectations  probably had a 
decent TP-DXing session this morning, at least in comparison  to yesterday's 
miserable results. Propagation from 1300-1335 was not bad, and  allowed some 
fairly healthy signals from Asian "big guns" like 594, 747,  828, 972, 1134 
and 1566. There was no signal swoon around 1400 like  yesterday, and a modest 
sunrise enhancement boosted several  second-tier stations like 558-HLQH and 
936-Anhui. TP signal levels were  generally nothing to shout about, but as 
most DXers have probably discovered  during this modest 2010 Fall Season, 
being thankful for what TP  audio comes in provides better hobby satisfaction 
than  continually hoping for last year's results :-)
 
The following were heard on a C.Crane SWP Slider model (7.5" loopstick)  
inductively coupled to a 9' sided PVC tuned passive loop (in the 34 degree 
back  yard). A modified ICF-2010 (30" loopstick) was used as an SSB spotting  
receiver:
