[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-27

Hello All,

Asiatic propagation continued to be at a fairly basic level this
morning, with the low-band TP regulars again having fair to good audio, but
with almost no reception of the second-tier Asians. In comparison to
yesterday, the middle and high band "big gun" TP's seemed down in strength, and the
1053-Korean Jammer was pretty anemic. The normally vibrant frequency of
1134 kHz (with "big guns" JOQR, KBS and CNR1 usually fighting it out) was just
another fair strength TP-mix frequency.
A detailed search for second-tier TP audio resulted in a few seconds
of fair Chinese from 936-China (presumed Anhui) at 1329, but that was it.
Basically, it was the same regular collection of Japanese and Korean "big
guns" this morning (along with 738-Taiwan, which acts like a "big gun" here),
plus the Asian "best bets" on 639, 648, 657, 666 and 675 kHz coming up
with fair-good audio at times. With modest propagation like this, Dennis'
Silver Point TP-DXing results are making me dream of DXing on an Oregon coast
cliff again :-)

The following were heard on a C.Crane SWP Slider model (7.5"
loopstick) inductively coupled to a 9' sided PVC tuned passive loop (in the back
yard):
