[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-26

Hello All,

The Asian regulars had no trouble showing up here this morning, but
second-tier TP audio was rare at best. On a second day of fairly average
conditions, there were a few minor TP surprises, but DXers returning from the
IRCA convention probably didn't miss much. The back yard was wet and the
weather was drizzly, but the TP's weren't exactly raining down.
729-JOCK and 693-JOAB both made fair appearances through local
splatter, and 738-Taiwan was at a good level playing its standard Chinese pop
music (after having apparently corrected its severe transmitter issues from
two days ago). 756-CNR1 had a decent signal in KXL splatter, and the Asian
lineup on 639, 648, 657, 666 and 675 took turns producing fair-good audio.
Other than these Asian regulars and a few other TP "big guns," it was a
fairly average September morning, and most of the second-tier Asians never
really came out of the noise. Since TP conditions really weren't much better
here yesterday, Dennis' superb reception of multiple TP's at Silver Point (on
the Oregon coast) with his stock E100 Ultralight and SAT is really
amazing!Cliff-top DXing above an ocean beach may well be the wave of the future.

The following were heard on a C.Crane SWP model (7.5" loopstick),
inductively coupled to a 9' sided PVC tuned passive loop (in the wet back
yard):
