Re: [IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-7

I can give a big "ditto" to Gary's comments. His large PVC loops are
impressive and imposing! Only rural DXers can expect to use these monsters
without the paranoia of who might be watching / frowning / disapproving.

Nick, if you don't necessarily want to rotate such a large loop for nulling,
but can make do with a fixed position, you could greatly lessen the visual
impact. Support ropes attaching to two trees or buildings, plus two stakes
to the ground, could tension spreaders that keep the loop's turns in
alignment and elevated. A single E-W loop could inductively couple to ULRs
for both DUs and TPs if you're willing to give up loop rotation for
nulling.

Gary, do you regularly null local pests when DXing with the giant air core
loops, or does this take too much time during the short time frame of dawn
enhancement when you're chasing foreign signals?
