Re: [IRCA] TP's for 07/02/10--Cortes Island

I had a decent morning on Saturday (this morning I slept in, so missed the
action). The entire band was pretty much open to Asia with a number of
Japanese, Korean, and Filipino stations heard. Even 279 weakly audible.
Here's a list of what I heard. I use the 10 point scale with audio
measuring 6 to 10 (with 6 just at threshold, and 10 ...like a strong
local). 6 unless otherwise noted. It was like a fair fall morning here:

279, 621, 689, 648 (DU),
657 (7 and DU)
675 (7.5 and DU)
738 (DU with rapid flutter)
747 NHK2 at 8, 774 ditto,
792, 954, 963
972: KK at 7
999, 1008
1017: Filipino at 7
1053: jammer at 7
1089 7ish
1098: strong OC at 8
1107, 1116 (DU),
1134: 8 level JJ or KK
1143
1152: 6 to 7 level
1179: 7 to 8 level JJ // 1188 at 7 level
1224
1242 8 level JJ
1251
1269: pop music. Filipino at 7+ level
1287 6 to 7
1314: 8 level JJ
1386, 1413,
1422: JJ at 7.5
1467, 1475, 1476, 1485
1503: 6 to 7
1566: 8 level HLCA

Not bad for a few days past summer equinox! ........Walt
