Considering the comments, it seems impossible to get a local ID from one of 
 the 1575-AFN network stations, but I would be more than happy to just get 
an AFN  network ID :-) 
 
It was a big surprise to come across that station, which was over and under 
 VOA for about 15 minutes yesterday. There must have been some unusually 
good  conditions to Japan on the high band yesterday, since 1503-JOUK was  
also unusually strong (which Dennis also reported). Whenever JOUK sounds  
great, 1575-AFN may also be possible.

I still have not tried to ID or QSL 1575 as yet. I have  AFN Japan heard
and QSL'd on 1550-Tokyo (60s), 810 Tokyo (80s), 648 Okinawa  (80s).
