[IRCA] TP for 7 Mar from Victoria, BC

Another interesting morning, though conditions didn't hold out as long as they did yesterday, with fadeout starting after 1435.   A couple of Chinese made the grade, and there was a little more action on the lower band, though mostly w/poorer signals than earlier in the season.


pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):


594 JOAK at 1430UT
1566 HLAZ  at 1422UT (this is still not overmodulated; the carrier was pretty strong to deliver this)   Also, something else was way underneath this,and there was a bit of a SAH



reasonable audio  at  times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 JOIK at 1430UT //594
747 JOIB at 1427
774 JOUB
972 HLCA at 1426; someone else there also?
1287 JOHR peaking at 1436UT
1314 JOUF w/JJ talk by woman, peaked at 1425UT
1422 JORF, peaked at 1422UT (oddly)
1593 CNR-1 //4460 at 1433




not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker

558 HLQH mx //603, w/SAH
603 HLSA 
828 JOBB
1242 JOLF
1332 JOSF presumed at 1424; JJ talk
1377 CNR-1 //4460 at 1421



Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

666 JOBK seemed //567 at 1435
702 a mumble, but traces seemed //774, so NHK2 in there somewhere
1152 seemed //747, so NHK2
1386 seemed //747 also, so NHK2
1431 JOZF??? at 1425UT; too rough to check for 1242 parallel
1512 a mess, but not //747 so ??
1575 likely VoA

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

693, 1008, 1098 w/ Asian bearing
