Just opened a 25 year old bottle of Scotch.
Have been looking at it for some time.
And the time was right - to toast a man who
left us all way to soon.

I share the thoughts, grief and pain of those
he loved, those he shared his life with,
his family and friends.

John's reportage was as integral to the hobby
and our environment as the very components that
made up our hobby; the Earth, wind, and sky...

And now part of our hobby is gone.

We move forward even though today we feel 
an irreparable loss.

Thoughts and prayers to you John.
