Thanks for your TP report collected at 0330 local time, which gives me  
reassurance that I'm not so bizarre by DXing at 0100 local time :-)
 
The Asian TP's do seem to fade into the noise after their local  sunset, so 
that DXing after about 1000 UTC has been counterproductive here  recently 
(on the few days I've been foolish enough to stay up that late). During  good 
propagation the NHK and Korean big guns seem to stay in weak audio  
throughout the night here, but audio from the weaker TP's seem to disappear  after 
their sunset propagation boost fizzles out.
 
JOAB-693 usually isn't one of the top performers here, and early this  
morning (around 0930 UTC) it was just a strong carrier, with no audio  during 
the few times I checked it. It was kind of strange, with even stations  like 
945 and 954 having audio right next to KJR.

Oddly enough, JOAB-693 was the strongest TP at the  time, even though 
Nick and Gary didn't report it.  JOAB was coming in  quite well, and 
JOAK-594 was only slightly weaker.  JOIB-747 and  JOUB-774 were readable 
but much weaker.  There were also bits of  audio or hets on other freqs, 
including 567 621 639 738 909 972 and  981.  There may have been others, 
but time was short.

It  sounds like Gary had much better reception 2.5 hours earlier, as did 
Nick  a 3.5 hours later.
