WAIS is owned by the Edwards family, who own about half of Nelsonville.  There is usually someone around the station.  Must have been wind damage as they were back on as of Tuesday, 12/15.
 
BTW, noted WVTS-950, Charleston, running "WQBE, FM 97.5" IDs on Monaday, 12/14, & playing cw ms.  I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to check 'em since.

It sounds like the FM is running an all satelitte driven format and the AM
is off.. and no one is minding the shop.
