[IRCA] TP for 24 Nov from Victoria, BC

Definite enhancement this morning at sunrise (from 1515 to 1545UT), as Gary
noted, and definitely pretty stinky before said enhancement, as John noted, so
sunrise mostly meant that the big guns only just started getting fired up.
Listening was sporadic due to other commitments this morning, started 1450UT,
quit 1545UT.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

567 JOIK //594 but not really there at all until 1514, and not around that much
even then
594 JOAK but not until 1514
639 CNR-1 //5030 at 1454UT, the earliest strong station
774 JOUB finally at 1523; beforehand was quite anemic
828 JOBB not until 1542UT here
1575 VoA, but not until 1541, and briefly

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker,
though often battling w/splash or noise):

only those above, passing through this level

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker

279 R. Rossii
558 HLQH // HLSA 603 at 1524UT; 558 had one other station, JOCR?
747 JOIB; never heard better than this today
972 HLCA
1503 JOUK //594 at 1543UT
1512 two unID stations at 1543UT; one sounded like CC talk

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

153 R. Rossii //279
612 JOLK //594 at 1526UT
936
954
1143
1278
1287
1539, might have been //5030 at 1541UT, but not so at 1545...a catch, whatever
it was
1566 at 1540UT

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

1098 (Asiatic)

best wishes,

Nick
