[IRCA] ULR DX...Sunset Skip......AM Station # 1300 Logged....and ULR # 754....a 250/9 Watter!!!!!! + UNID HELP NEEDED!!
Hi Guys:
Well..I was sitting at # 1299 Heard for the Overall Log when I began
Sunset DXing tonight...and I was hoping I could log a good one for #
1300!!! Luck was with me and I bagged # 1300 (Which is ULR # 754) ...and
it's a 250 Watts Days/ 9 Watts Nights, Low Power Station. I don't know
if they forgot to Power down to 9 Watts.....or if this is just great
conditions and they were actually on 9 Watts?? Either way...I didn't
expect to hear this Station on 650 with WSM and WNMT there.
I had to really work for this New One...they were just playing Song
after Song with no Talk. Songs were in PORTUGUESE and ENGLISH. When I
realized they weren't gonna ID....I rushed down to the Laptop to see if
they had a Live Web Feed. I didn't think they would, being a Low Powered
Station....but I lucked out again and they did have a Web Feed!! I was
able to Match up 4 Songs with the Webfeed...which seemed a little Behind
the Broadcast. 3 Vocal Songs and a STRANGE Instrumental were all matched
up....The Web Feed to what I was hearing on the Sony SRF-T615
BAREFOOT!!! I even went out on the back deck in the dark and stood there
listening as it was a little quieter out there. I was able to completely
NULL WSM and had these guys in the clear for a time while out there on
the deck! Even the Schedule matched up with the Program I was hearing.....
Ya just never know..........
I also have a couple of UNIDS if anyone can help. I've searched the web
and can't find anything so far????
Radio Used........SONY SRF-T615 ULR BAREFOOT.

ULR LOG is now........754 Stations Heard.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Overall Log is now....1300 Stations Heard.

650 WSRO Ashland, MASS. Nov/22/09 1705-1735 EST PP/EE Fair
In WSM NULL. Portuguese Vocals at 1705 EST Tune In. Weird
Instrumental Selection 1708-13. More Portuguese Vocals by Female
@ 1713. EE Pop Music Vocals for a couple of Songs. More PP
Vocals 1728-35 EST. Was able to match up 4 Songs with the Live
Webfeed. Their Program schedule shows "WSRO MUSICA". No ID Heard
but NO Doubt this is them with PP Programming and Webfeed matchup!

1060 UNID E/W Bearing?? Nov/22/09 1615 EST EE FAIR
"Scott Linden Outdoors...The Radio Show". Talking about
Steelhead Fishing. In for about 5 Minutes. No ID Heard.
Checked the Scott Linden Webpage but no Station List shown.
Anyone know anybody on 1060 that carries them???

560 UNID SE/NW Bearing?? Nov/22/09 1652 EST EE FAIR
"Pittsburgh Steelers Radio Network" ID and Post Game Show.
Also gave ID as "Here on Talk Sports Radio 1450". Or Maybe it was
"FOX Sports Radio 1450??"I was on 560 but ID was for a Station on
1450. Football Scores. IDs for Giant Eagle Grocery Store. 1658 EST
Fade Out.
UNID......NEED HELP
