Don't suppose it was an early showing of the Asiatic Russian, John?  I know it's fooled me before at the end of TA openings.   Magadan is pretty close to the terminator even at 0500UT.

Luxembourg would be nice, but Iceland on 189 and Morocco on 171 seem to the European BCers of choice out here (not for me though, still need to get "real" loggings of both)
