[IRCA] Puyallup, WA TP's for 10-6..Not Bad
Hello All,
Signals from the second-tier TP's seemed a little weaker than yesterday,
and there were no weak Chinese co-channels that seem to come out in droves
during good conditions (when using the 9' box loop). Like Walt reported,
675-VOV had a super signal around 1400, but it was alone on the frequency, with
no mix from Hohhot this morning.
1134-KBS did have pretty strong Korean news at 1405 (in splatter from
1130-CKWX, a fairly strong daytimer here), which was a new Ultralight TP
logging for me (#96). No sign of JOQR (or the Chinese station on the frequency),
as reported by Dennis.
The 9' PVC box loop continues to amaze, with 5 new Ultralight TP's logged
since it was set up on Saturday-- along with multiple new weak UnID Chinese
co-channels that will probably remain in obscurity (unless the upcoming
Massett or Grayland DXpeditions clarify their identity).
73, Gary DeBock
Modified ICF-2010 (30" loopstick)
Modified C.Crane SWP (7.5" Slider loopstick + CFJ455K5 filter)
9' PVC tuned passive loop (in back yard)
