[IRCA] Alberta TPs for 29 Sep 2009
Had my first morning listening after a couple of weeks away. It was a
good to very good morning here, but I don't think I could go so far as
to use the superlatives coming from further west! Japan and Korea
dominated, with only a so-so morning for China. In general, the mid
band, from about 800-1400 seemed to be doing the best.
This morning's audio:
China 1017, 1044, 1206, 1215
Japan 558, 567, 585, 594, 666, 693, 747, 774, 828, 837, 873, 927, (never
hrd NHK here before), 1071, 1107 (never heard Japan here either), 1179,
1188 (mixing with another stn), 1242 (has been doing very well this
season), 1278 (a rare one here), 1287, 1296, 1413 (doing well), 1422
S.Korea 738, 972, 1062, 1134, 1170 (no sign of VOA today), 1566
N.Korea 819
unID 801 (lots of CHAB splatter, but sounded more Chinese than Korean),
846 (EZL vocal), 936 (China?), 954 (traces of talk in CFAC splatter -
likely Japan), 1026 (weak music, but too weak to ID language), 1098
(traces of audio), 1116 (seemed Chinese), 1143 (seemed Chinese), 1305
(weak, but sounded Korean, and was not //1215 CNR2), 1314 (briefly with
pop tune at 1306 - Japan?)
