(I think Bill Block and Frank Merrill were the only ones in Albuquerque who attended the only other IRCA convention I did -- Columbus OH in (my memory said '74 but others corrected to '75.)
> Shared Corvallis/Albany H.S. rivalry stories with Doug Pifer ... learned that Dave Williams and I were on Oregon State campus about the same time ... enjoyed chauffeuring Dave, Nigel Pimblett and Stan Weisback on excursions from headquarters ... Kudos to the organizers and the publishers and other volunteers ... nice, to, to be updated on some other old friends who weren't able to attend the gathering. Y'all are keeping a couple of good things going ... the AM DX hobby and this 46-year-old club.
