[IRCA] Puyallup, WA TP's for 9-20.. Uneven Results
Hello All,
Once again the conditions overall were less than inspiring, with audio
down on most of the usual powerhouses (594, 657, 747 and 972). But also again,
738-Taiwan Fisheries managed to ignore the trend, with a huge signal (and
MP3) at 1342 complete with a buzzing carrier and funky audio. For some
bizarre reason, the signal of this station here throughout this month has
generally been stronger than any other TP, including the usual 594 and 747
Japanese NHK powerhouses.
738-Taiwan was received here last year on a stand-alone Slider E100, but it
was at the noise level, and nothing like the monster signal this month.
Maybe the ragged carrier is related to the serious new signal strength?
