There is something about my location in the Rockland neighborhood
of Victoria B.C. Canada (Google Map it - Fort Street junction with Belmont Ave...)

For whatever reason, there is a notch above 1200 khz that
limits stellar performance by most high band signals.

Could be that my building is on solid rock and
I do not have a very good ground -- 7 floors up and all.
