[IRCA] 2008/2009 season summary
I count the MW season from September through August and I thought I would share a summary of the last season. It was not a very good one, only 10 new stations heard plus 2 new HAR/TIS stations. QSLs were equally as low with only 7 stations plus 1 HAR/TIS. Only 3 QSLs received this calendar year! I'm not sure if it's the economy or lack of interest at the stations. It's becoming more difficult to hear new stations and my totals are only 367 heard. I hope to spend more time this year on MW.
On a good note I have had a good year with Utility stations including a QSL from NME Charleston SC on 518 kHz running NAVTEX.
