Reminds me!

Nigel, his beautiful wife and child, Walter Salmaniw, my wife Andrea
and I had dinner in Victoria recently - celebrating our hobby
and life in general.

I had last seen Nigel in 1975 (he was 16 at the time)
along with his late brother Brian Pimblett.

Being a teenager in the 70's and enjoying the radio hobby
and the old style miracle of paper correspondence - we
all felt on top of the World... belonging to clubs like
CIDX, SPEEDX, etc oh yea... and the IRCA!

In 2009, it is not so bad... It is still a vibrant hobby
with plenty of surprises.

Cheers,
