   This e-mail was received from Karin Reid-LeBlanc and is regarding
the cassette report which I sent after the hearing what I thought might
be the "test" from CBA last year. You win some and you lose some.

Dear Mr Hardester.

I'm sorry this response has taken so long, and I hope you're still
interested in this reply.  I'm afraid your letter got tucked away into a
far corner of my desk and I've only just rediscovered it.

We did indeed receive a cassette tape from you.  I think you were
wondering if we could confirm that the signal was coming from CBA-1070.
Based on what I heard on the tape, I can confirm that it was definitely
CBC programming. However, it was recorded during our national newscast,
so I can't confirm with certainty that the signal originated here in
Moncton, as we all carry World Report at the top of each hour.
