Thanks for your suggestion.
I do plan to add a few more turns to the 490' of existing wire on the LW
box loop frame, and get the coverage down to 150 kHz. Actually, I was pretty
lucky to get the coverage where it ended up, on the first attempt. Using
only math to plan the LW windings after building the 10' medium wave box
loop, it was really a stab in the dark to make this LW version. So I certainly
can't complain.
Yes, it would be interesting to compare this monster loop with other LW
antennas, and I plan to check out some European DX this week. Unfortunately,
I'm not a very experienced LW DXer, so I have a lot to learn :>)
