[IRCA] TP for 4 Apr from Victoria, BC
Didn't think this was up to the last couple of mornings, but oddly, the propagation monitor showed a good low band peak around 1345UT, when I felt that things were starting to fade quickly. Maybe it was a morning for loop antennas rather than Flags. Listened from 1325 to 1350UT.
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):
774 JOUB
reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK
747 JOIB
828 JOBB at 1347; not great today
1566 HLAZ at 1329UT, w/JJ talk; not as good after 1345, though still some audio
1575 likely VoA
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
738 36Hz hum, still unID, position just south of west points to Australia, which seems pretty unlikely
1053 100Hz hum, still unID
Burbles in the splatter and noise:
567 JOIK //594
603 likely HLSA
612 mx, DU direction, likely 4QR
873 JOGB //774
954 JOKR?
972 likely HLCA
1134 unID
1503 JOUK //594
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
279, 639 DU, 1098DU, 1242, 1314, 1548 DU, 1593
best wishes,
Nick
