[IRCA] TP for 26 Mar from Victoria, BC
Started in at 1300UT, and conditions seemed back to normal, i.e. pretty much in
the bucket. But there was a bit of a lift when I checked back about 1335UT, so
there were a few things of interest, mostly Asiatic:
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):
774 JOUB at 1338
828 JOBB at 1344UT
reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or
noise):
594 JOAK at 1339
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
747 JOIB
873 JOGB //828 at 1349
972 HLCA likely at 1343
1053 Mister 100Hz at 1339UT
1566 HLAZ at 1342; didn't return to this strength after 1345 pattern change
Burbles in the splatter and noise:
567 JOIK //594
576 a mystery, sounded like in could be RR talk at 1341, and direction was OK,
but a bit unexpected with these conditions
603 woman talking at 1344UT, HLSA?
639 seemed to be DU direction, maybe Fiji?
1242 woman talking at 1349, maybe JJ, so JOLF?
1287 JJ inflected? talk by man, so JOHR?
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 612DU,
621, 666, 1098DU
best wishes,
Nick
