If it was a rather gravely voice and monotonous manner of speaking, it may 
well have been a recording of the late Dr. Gene Scott (can't believe he's 
been gone for 4 years now). Many of his sermons included extraterrestials, 
personal observations, ancient languages and history, or he may even played 
his saxophone but he could also preach with the best of them.
