[IRCA] TP for 9 Feb from Victoria, BC
A bit late...a long day here. Listened from 1450-1500UT and 1510 to 1520 this morning, and felt it was pretty good in spite of Walt's earlier comments. Not as good as yesterday though.
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):
594 JOAK
747 JOIB at 1514
774 JOUB
828 JOBB
reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise):
558 pop mx not //603 at 1449, so JOCR? (but //603 a few minutes later)
603 HLSA //558 at 1452
639 CNR-1, //5030, and pretty consistent
972 HLCA
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
567 JOIK // 594 at 1441UT
693 JOAB //828
702 NHK2 //828 1515UT
855 choral mx and hum at 1516, likely N. Korea
873 JOGB //828 at 1447
954 JOKR w/JJ talk by man at 1517UT
1134 S. Korea //972 at 1442UT
1287 JOHR JJ talk at 1518UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise:
585 seemed //594 w/mx at 1451so JOPG
648
666 seemed //594 man talking at 1453 so JOBK
675
711 at 1448UT, man talking KK?
864 at 1446
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 657 w/hum, 1098DU, 1143, 1242, 1278, 1314, 1368, 1377, 1566
best wishes,
Nick
