Good Morning:

Listened from 1418-1535 utc.   Could the "mid winter anomaly" be leaving
in mid winter?  Lower channels far superior to the upper channels
this morning. 


* heard on the eton E100 with NE ewe.
 279    RUSSIA, 1431 good with man in Russian.
558    JAPAN, JOCR 1430 fair with woman in Japanese.
576    UNKNOWN, 1454 weak with Asian language, don't
          think it was Japanese?
594    JAPAN, JOAK 1429 fair with woman in Japanese.
603    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA 1523 very weak.
648   *RUSSIA, VoR 1428 mostly weak, sometimes fair with Korean.
          Good signal at 1449.
657    DPR OF KOREA, 1426 fair for a few seconds, then back to poor.
          usual music.  
666    JAPAN, JOBK 1421 weak to fair with woman/man in Japanese.
693    JAPAN, JOAB 1433 weak with man in Japanese.
729    ?JAPAN JOCK? 1501 very weak, threshold audio.  
774    JAPAN, JOUB 1418 weak to good at times with a lot of splatter.
828    JAPAN, JOBB 1436 fair to nearly good with man in Japanese.
          Good at 1523 with man in Japanese.
1575  THAILAND, VOA 1440 very weak with a few words coming
          through.
