Dennis,

I just sprayed my Realistic TRF with DeoxIT Gold and it 
cleaned up the noise.  I have used it on my Palstar MW550P
tuner and it worked excellent on the switch for the bypass-
preamp-MW preamp.  Expensive, about $13-12 for a 5 oz
spray can.
