171 - Morocco at 0500-0540 checks. Man in French with talk, Arabic vocals.
Fair signal.
162 - France at 0530. News in French. Poor, but clear signal. New catch!
183 - Germany at 0528. Man talking in French. Poor, but clear. New catch!
198 - U.K. at 0539. Man in British-accented English. Just above threshold.
Would be clear, but QRM'd by "over-the-horizon" radio type signal.
216 - France at 0450-0455. Fair signal with man and woman dialouging in
French. QRM from "CLB" beacon.
234 - Luxembourg at 0505 with news in French by woman. Song "Pretty Woman"
at 0507. Fair signal.
252 - 2 signals at equal levels mixing it up at 0510.
252 - Algeria at 0542-0552. music with keyboard and percussion then French
talk by man and African "Highlife" music at 0551. Another station (woman
talking) underneath. QRM from "FO" beacon.
270 - Music just above audio threshold at 0554. QRM from "UDE" and "ZWL"
beacons.
