The people who own WSRP, WLNR and WLLN also own several other stations as
evidenced here:

However, I believe the stations that went silent were owned and operated by
the licensees themselves. WRTG-AM 1000 Garner, WLLQ-AM 1530 Chapel Hill,
WREV-AM 1220 Reidsville are operated by another broadcaster and don't fall
under the same umbrella.

I'll check with a friend at Star News-WGSR 30 to see if WREV-AM 1220 is on
the air or not.It was simply a relay of another station, by phone line.

The same folks own ESPN Radio 1400 WSPG Spartanburg, SC and WNWK-AM 1260
Newark, DE(1260 shares programming with WTRI-AM 1520 Brunswick, Maryland)
