Re: [IRCA] DX CJWW

Another good example of a station slogan differing from their format is
620-CKRM. Their slogans last night were "Sportsradio 6-20, CKRM" usually
followed by a promo for the Sasketchewan Roughriders hockey team, but then
they would play country music. 73.

referred to the AM station as "NewsRadio 660 KEYZ(pronounced Keys) Country
KEYZ"

The station was classic country, but heavy on news and information.... and
used that slogan as a way to imply what they were to give listeners an idea
before they even tuned in... so you knew, even if you weren't a classic
country fan, where to tune in.

It was nothing more then a slogan, KEYZ has been Classic Country for YEARS
and still is.

The CJWW thing is probably nothing more then a position statement.. I
wouldn't worry too much about it.
