Yes, that was noticeable on the propagation monitor, Gary, where 1566 peaked at 0850UT with considerably greater strength than it did when I was listening after 1500UT.   However, I noticed that HLAZ had another peak at 1600UT, after I'd given up, so I wonder if there was a high band enhancement that I missed?

Recent mornings have delivered some interesting DX  here, which is why this morning's poorer conditions were such a surprise.
