[IRCA] TP for 16 Nov from Victoria, BC
A little down from yesterday here, with, as Dennis noted, fewer signs of China; listened from 1500 to 1525 UT.
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):
774 JOUB
reasonable audios at several times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK
747 JOIB
828 JOBB
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
873 JOGB //774
954 JOKR
972 HLCA at 1509UT
1134 seemed Japan (not //972)
1593...interesting channel; got both NHK2 and CNR1 at various times, and once some instrumental music seemingly parallel with neither
Burbles in the splatter and noise (all Asiatic):
567 JOIK at 1510UT //594
837 didn't seem NHK1
864 weak music
1044 tentative CRI, but no SW parallels available
1053 music; Japan?
1242 heard fairly often, but never above this strength; talk to poor to ID language, likely Japan
1566 big carrier of course
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1098, looped towards Marshalls; 1503 with a SAH, seemed Asiatic.
