For what it's worth, as far as getting any kind of advance notice of 
downtime at KNBR, their engineering department is running very 
short-handed at the moment. One engineer was laid off a couple of weeks 
ago, and if my count is right, that leaves one full-timer and one 
part-timer taking care of the downtown SF studios, plus KNBR on the 
Peninsula, KTCT in the East Bay, KFOG at Mount Sutro, KSAN at Mount San 
Bruno and KFFG down in the South Bay.

Those guys are lucky they have time to grab a sandwich once or twice a 
week...never mind to schedule downtime in advance with DXers.

Tough times out there.
