[IRCA] Alberta TP's for 28 Oct 2008

   Definitely a morning worth listening to hear in Alberta, at least on
the lower half of the dial.  Carriers from one end to the other, and
many strong, but no audio heard above the Chinese station on 1206 (not
even 1566).  All the Japanese big guns produced good audio (though 693
and 747 would fade out periodically).  Also audio from Japan on 531,666
and 1134, Korea on 711 and 972, Russia on 648 and 576, China on 981,
1089, 1206, and North Korea doing very well on 657.  UnID audio on 738,
801 and traces on 549.
    Alaska was the highlight this morning though, as this was likely the
best Alaskan morning of the season.  Heard KNOM nicely on 780, KJNP on
1170 (with QRM likely from Korea), and for the first time, KFQD on
750.  It was great to finally hear that one, after reading countless
posts from the coast about how well everyone hears it!  For several
minutes it rose above my usual CKJH/KERR mix, and timed nicely for the
ID at 1400.
