Re: [IRCA] TPs on Orcas: Average to Good!
Colin,
Sure, a lot of it is the location and antennas. But many great DX
catches have been heard under excellent conditions and being at the
right place at the right time. Sometimes the signals have been so strong
that a wet noodle out the window would have brought in the DX, but by
the next hour, there may not be a peep out of the signal. But you guys
do "Very Well" with TA's. I get a bit upset at times, when you are
listening to laid-back audio and all I can get is a carrier, if that.
