Re: [IRCA] Radio Shack/Terk Technology AM-1000 and Select-a-Tenna

Hi Dennis,

I use the Terk with my ULR's pretty regularly. I used industrial strength
hook and loop and the smaller ones ('59, '39, DT210V) attach right on the
top of the loop, making the whole setup portable. The Terk really peaks the
ULR's. I listen to Cuba on 530 at armchair quality and LYQ (250 watt/Tenn)
is clearly audible from here in southern Idaho.

Does anyone own both of these loops? I know the middle of the RS/Terk is
open and I think I've heard that smaller radios that fit inside may get more
gain.
