[IRCA] TP for 4Oct08 from Victoria: Strangely satisfying!

Monitored between 13:46 and 14:32 only.  SF 67 A 14 and K3, so disturbed.  Only got to the bottom third of the band, really, but what I heard was all over the map.  The star performer this morning on the antenna
front was my newest Conti corner fed broadband loop which is aimed around 244 degrees towards Australia.  Dimension wise, it's also my largest antenna with a height of about 50 feet and horizontal dimension 
of about 75 feet.  Star station this morning has to be Radio Fiji 1 on 639 at 9 level at times after 14:00, // to it's internet feed with either a politician or a preacher going on and on.  A clip has been uploaded to
www.dxer.ca , so have a listen!  Also first time in a long while that NZ was propagating this way....haven't heard them since the Queen Charlottes.  Here's the catch:

567:  Interesting.  Radio National with hymns // to internet feed (NZ) at 13:47.  At 13:53, it was all JOIK at 9 level.

612:  Brisbane at 8 level

639:  up to 9 level from Radio Fiji, // to internet feed, and possibly // to 684 as well
666:  NHK1
675:  Radio National NZ, Christchurch with wx forecasts at 14:14, best with ALA 100 loop (aimed NZ, by the way) at 7 level
684:  ?snippets of Radio Fiji 1 at 14:16 on S Conti loop only.
693:  NHK2 at 8 level, but best on S Conti loop too!

747:  NHK2 at 8 level at 14:26 in Italian
774:  ditto
828:  6 only
1269, 1314, 1512, 1566:  all 6 level only.
